Rafah ; The Gaza Strip's crumbling health system is under further strain after the Israeli army intensified its bombardment of Rafah's Tal as-Sultan area and other parts of the enclave, a day after an attack on a Rafah camp killed 45 Palestinians. Medical staff and patients are reported to be trapped inside the facility, where many Palestinian families are also taking refuge. Earlier on Monday, the Kuwait Specialty Hospital in Rafah was forced to close after two of its medical staff were killed in an Israeli attack outside the hospital gates. Witnesses said the victims came under fire from Israeli aircraft. The hospital was treating most of the 249 people injured in Sunday night's Israeli attack on a camp for displaced people.
